Responsibilities:

JENOPTIK (Prodomax Automation Ltd.) is looking for a Welder to join our Team!
This role will report directly to the Weld Shop Lead.

Located in Barrie, Ontario, we are a specialized industrial engineering firm focused on designing complex automation with a blue-chip customer base since 1971. Welder Accountabilities:
  • Read and interpret drawings and determine work and/or repair procedures
  • Weld using the following processes: mig, flux core, tig and stick
  • Review layouts, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding or cutting metal components
  • Utilize strong knowledge of jig setup and custom fitting to ensure finished product meets the design specifications
  • Understand and comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs
  • Operate iron worker and vertical and horizontal band saws
  • Some heavy lifting

Qualified candidates will possess:

Welder Key Professional Attributes:
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program for Welder and holds a Certificate of Qualification, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years direct working experience
  • Fork truck and crane license is an asset
